Eco friendly and reusable bamboo Cutlery and Jewellery Designer, Mr Tridip Mahanta hails from the small town of Naharkatia in Dibrugarh District of Assam (India).
He has 413 recorded bamboo designs to his credit, marked by his unique bamboo bending technique. His products are usable for day-to-day work and all products are washable. His cutlery has got the UNESCO Seal of Excellence certifying excellence, authenticity, innovativeness, eco-friendliness, and fair pricing of the products. The smallest pair of his miniature bamboo cutlery products are as small as 3.5 millimeters

Raymond Lyngdoh

Director of Rynsan Creation Pvt Ltd.(Meghalaya), Mr Lyngdoh holds a master degree in Social Work (MSW). Was previously associated as Project Manager-Khasi Hills REDD+ project; and Assistance District Project Manager with Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA). Currently he is the also President of KKSCO which is a local NGO that worked for rural development, mostly working with SHGs and Farmers groups. This NGO collaborated with FMC, Delhi in the implementation of a bamboo project in RiBhoi District of Meghalaya which is sponsored by SDF and NABARD. Under the project he is instrumental in incapacitating the SHGs and artisans in the value addition of bamboo in handicrafts, furniture and bamboo shoot while also focusing in the marketing aspect of it.

He is a senior TVET Consultant for multiple International consulting agencies. A Post Graduate in Engineering, he is an accomplished Technical Trainer, Pedagogy Trainer, Instructional Media Developer, and Course & Curriculum designer. He specializes in designing and modelling large TVET institutions, and in developing machinery & equipment specifications for value added Workshops and Labs.
